Cobra Automotive Equipment was founded by Jerry Hrychuk. Starting out at a young age of 17 in the automotive industry, working with his father in the family’s Ford dealership business, in Alberta. He understood what it would take to fully equip a service facility and to make it profitable at the same time. After completing the four year Automotive Apprenticeship Program of schooling and hands-on in 1981, Jerry went on to opening and operating his own automotive car/truck repair facility for 5 years in western Canada.

In 1986 Jerry was offered employment with Allen Test Products in Mississauga, Ontario as a sales representative of diagnostic equipment and excelled, being in the top 5 sales producers in North America for the company.

In 1998 Environmental Systems Products offered Jerry a position in the sales of vehicle emissions inspection equipment in Ontario for 3 phases of the light duty program as well as the heavy-duty diesel program and the enhanced programs in California and finally Pennsylvania.

With many years of experience he has brought Cobra Automotive Equipment forward into the wheel service, alignment, frame, body and measuring systems for today’s vehicles.

Technical service is provided by Brent Westerik with 28 years of experience in automotive equipment, specializing in the hofmann product line of wheel service, lift maintenance and installation.
